Mr. Floyd graduated from the University of Georgia in 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Middle Grades Education.  He received his Master's in Middle Grades Natural Science from Piedmont College in 2018. Lastly, Mr. Floyd received his Educational Specialist in curriculum and instruction from Piedmont College in 2019.

Prior to becoming to being named Assistant Principal at Hilltop and Miller in 2024, Mr. Floyd taught for ten years at Warner Robins Middle with seven of the years in Gifted education.  

Mr. Floyd has been married to his wife, Jennah, since 2020.  They have two daughters, Eversyn and Avilyn.
